Raven Rae

RAVEN RAE is a sweet and beautiful 2 year old  purebred female coal BLACK RAGDOLL who has golden-green eyes and is 4 paw declawed.  She is fully vetted and spayed.  She is also a “masterpiece in progress”.

Raven Rae came to SPCR as part of a group of purebred ragdolls that belonged to a breeder who was closing her business. These kitties had rarely been handled and, although generally sweet, had not even been socialized beyond knowing that people brought their food.  Raven Rae hid for the first few weeks of her life at SPCR.  She has come so far, but  she has a ways to go!   She now will seek out being pet, loves being brushed and will let you hold her ( for about 30 seconds) before wanting to be released. She will probably want to hide for a while in any new surroundings, but I truly believe that in an experienced, calm home, she will continue her progress and come to realize she is a safe and loved kitty who can assume the lifestyle that a princess like her deserves.  That will probably take some time yet, so a patient home is necessary as well.

Raven Rae is being posted as special needs purely due to the requirements of the home she need in order to progress to best self.  We are searching for a home that will help her reach her fullest potential. She doesn’t mind other cats, I don’t think she has any experience with dogs, and although someday she might be just fine with small children, right now  she will need a home with older children who are respectful of what she will need as she learns this new life.  I have a distinct feeling that when she lands in the perfect place, she will be the most beautiful blossom on the vine!
