Lexus

LEXUS is a 2 to 3 year old, blue-eyed, SEAL POINT HIMALAYAN.  She is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, up to date on vaccinations, weighs 8 lbs., and has her claws.

Lexus tugs every heart-string to unravel any resistance you might have.  She is a wonderful and loving kitty even though she has a tiny frown like “grumpy cat”.  When you pick her up, she lays her head against your cheek with affection.  When you lean towards her, she looks into your eyes and rubs her face against yours.  When you’re hanging out on the sofa, she sometimes likes to have her paw or head on your leg and sometimes be in your lap.  Lexus is not a big talker and has a sweet meow. She comes running when you call her name and clap your hands.

Lexus keeps herself quite busy as she is inquisitive about the noises and activity in the house.  She takes notice of where the elder cats are, one of whom she likes to rub against and the other she respectfully gives space.  Her favorite toys are crinkle balls which she carries between levels of the house and bats around to play soccer.  As she enjoys human interaction, playing fetch is a favorite activity as well. Lexus follows my husband from room-to-room during his morning routine and greets him at the door at the end of the day.  In the evening, she gets zoomies and will run through the house with and without her crinkle ball.

Lexus’s fur has filled out beautifully to become super soft and fluffy.  Her eyes weep a bit and will need to be wiped a couple times per day which she doesn’t mind.  Her adopter will need to continue to brush/comb her at least several times a week to maintain her gorgeous coat of fur.  With patience by both her and the adopter, you can trim her toenails at home.  An adopter who has experience with flat faced breeds is preferred.

The vet has recommended that Lexus continue to receive probiotics daily for the next 2 or 3 months to aid in digestion.  It isn’t known if she has ever met a dog so a home without dogs would be preferred or a home with a docile dog that is known to give a cat their space.  Lexus has done well to meet children over the age of 12, but may not do well the younger the children might be.
