KLAUS is a sweet 1 year old male WHITE PERSIAN that has been neutered and has beautiful Gold Eyes. He is just over 7 pounds. He has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to his forever home.

Klaus came to rescue from an owner who could no longer care for him.   He enjoys playing with wands, mice, balls, and springs.  He seems to have an allergy to chicken and so is on a non-chicken limited ingredient food and this is why he is listed as special needs.  He lost a lot of fur around his neck while we figured out his skin condition and his previous owner cut out his mats rather than brushing him, so his coat is still evening out.  He does not mind being brushed except in his nether regions.  He would probably do best with a groomer at least a couple of times a year.  Because he is white, his eyes need to be cleaned daily.

Klaus will need to be in a home where he is the king of his castle.  He will get along well with a non-dominant resident kitty.  He loves to follow his foster mom around and be under or around her no matter what she is doing.  He leans into head scratches and pets.  His belly, however, is a trap. He jumps up and sits on laps when his people are on the couch or in a chair.  He is curious about everything.  He is always purring and making biscuits.  He gets along well with the resident boxer.   He would do best in a home without small children.  He is 100% with his litter box.
