Oliver
OLIVER is an amazing GREY and WHITE PERSIAN. He has gorgeous copper colored eyes. Oliver is 12 years old, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, current on vaccinations and is microchipped. He is front declawed. Oliver had a senior blood panel done and it came back great!
Oliver and his brother Elliot (who will be available for adoption soon) came to SPCR when their owner had to go into a memory care facility and could no longer care for them. She had purchased them as kittens from a breeder and took great care of them. You can tell that they were loved very much because both boys have WONDERFUL personalities. They come running to the door to meet whomever is coming into the house. They absolutely love everyone, and are not shy at all. They both follow their foster family everywhere in the house and loved to be involved in everything that is going on.
Oliver has an adorable white mustache, and you will often find his little tongue sticking out. It’s so cute, his foster mom just loves him. He has a cottony coat that will need to be brushed often (which he likes) or he can be taken for a grooming. Since he has a flat face his eyes will need to be wiped daily to keep him looking his cutest. He has the cutest little snort that he will make when he is communicating with you…he definitely brightens everyone’s day who meets him.
Oliver likes to play with wand toys, and acts like he is a much younger cat when he is playing. He also likes to sit on the couch with people, eat (he LOVES wet food and is requesting a home that will continue to feed it to him) and he enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster family. Oliver is 100% with his litter box. He and Elliot are not bonded, however they get along well and make a great pair for someone looking for an amazing pair of cats. He gets along with other cats, and would be fine with a dog that would ignore him. He could also very easily be an only cat for someone who is home a lot. Kids who are old enough to give him attention would also be fine.
