Cashew Praline

CASHEW PRALINE is a BRITISH LONGHAIR MIX with stunning gold eyes and beautiful swirls in her Tabby markings.  She is very young at 1½ years and short in stature although solid at 8.6 lbs.  She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, has her claws, and is microchipped.  Since a British Longhair was created as a cross between a British Shorthair and a Persian, she has traits of big, round eyes that complement her fur color, a flattened forehead, big paws, she is solid and has medium to long fur.

Cashew Praline was found abandoned in Kuwait in the heat of summer, seeking the shade of bushes due to a matted coat of fur.  She was picked up by a rescue group where she was de-matted and groomed while trying to keep some of her gorgeous fur intact both for her comfort and potential adopters to see a hint of her beauty.  Beyond her good looks, Cashew is charming as well.  She loves to make eye contact, to climb up on your chest, to rub against your chin, and sometimes climbs onto the shoulder of a man who is sitting down.   She is great fun to watch when she gets the zoomies as her kitten energy shines through.

Cashew likes to be in the room with her humans sharing or watching whatever they might be doing. She can be content and quiet in a separate room at night until she hears someone moving about the house and she then cries to be able to join them.  She enjoys visitors of all ages…including elderly people and children who will pet and play with her.  She enjoys DaBird and knows to track the string that controls the bird. She also enjoys Yeowwww catnip toys which are filled 100% with nip.

Cashew was in a community room with other cats in Kuwait and has a room to herself at the foster home.  She has done well in all known situations.  It is not known whether she has ever met a dog.  Everyone falls in love with Cashew right away due to her outgoing personality and sweetness.
