Jackson
JACKSON a BLUE POINT SIAMESE with lovely blue eyes. He is 7 years old, has his claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. This gorgeous boy weighs close to 10 lbs.
Jackson came to us when his original owners felt that he would do much better in a calmer home with fewer cats and dogs around. His foster mom is truly smitten with this loving and beautiful boy. He is a people friendly chap who didn’t take too long to adjust to his new temporary environment. However, he also has a sensitive side to him where at times he looks a bit unsure of what is going on, at which point he will run for cover.
He loves to be petted and will come as soon as he either sees or hears his foster mom. When she watches her favorite Netflix show, this sweet boy likes to come up on her lap to get some cuddles, and then he is off exploring a bit of his new, temporary environment.
Jackson is currently rooming with a very docile male Persian. After some initial hissing on Jackson’s part, he quickly realized that the little Persian kitty doesn’t mean any harm so now they hang out on the cat tree together. However, Jackson will not do well with a domineering cat so we are going to request a home where he can either be the king of his own castle or where there is only one other laid back cat (in his previous home he and the female cat did not get along so if you have a domineering female cat, that would not work for Jackson).
We understand that he was good with the dogs since they respected him and left him alone, so a cat friendly laid back dog should be okay for Jackson. We were also told that he was comfortable with respectful children.
However, we do not want to send him to a home where he would have to compete for attention with multiple animals (now or in the future). Jackson eats both wet and dry food and he is using his litter box perfectly.
ADOPTION FEE $250. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.
