Hoot

HOOT is a medium to long hair, male CREAM SCOTTISH FOLD. He is six months old, neutered, has his rabies and distemper vaccine,  feluk/ fiv negative,  microchipped and tested negative for carrying the double scottish fold gene.

Hoot came to SPCR from a vet clinic in Florida.  Hoot was brought into the clinic to be euthanized for no reason. Luckily the clinic staff was smart enough not to do this, and someone took him home to foster him.

Hoot is beyond adorable!  He loves to purr and loves to play with toys. He is friendly and loves to be around you, but does not need to sit on your lap all the time.  He is just as content to lay next to you.

Hoot can be an only cat if someone is home a lot to spend time with him.  Hoot can also be with another cat that can hold his own.  Not a cat that is shy or scared, but he will take a week or 2 to warm up to them.  Once he is friends he tends to play a little rough,  like a young boy.  Hoot is also fine with the small dog in his foster home that doesn’t chase or bother him.  Hoot has never been around kids but older respectful children should be fine.

Anyone that adopts Hoot needs to be sure he has at least one tunnel for him to play with plus a cat tree.

Hoot is currently eating both canned and dry food.
