Evelyn

EVELYN is an adorable TORTIE POINT HIMALAYAN with blue eyes. She is 1 years old, spayed, has her claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped. She weighs 6.6 lbs.

Evelyn came to us from a breeder that was no longer able to care for her cats. Evelyn’s foster mom can tell that this soft, fluffy little lady was loved and well taken care of. However, she may not have received a whole lot of interaction or play time and will initially be skittish. She will need a patient owner who allows her to get used to life in her own home and come to them on her own terms.

When her foster mom comes into the room and finds Evelyn hanging out in her kitty cave, she is very receptive to getting some love and pets from her foster mom. She starts purring right away, and when she feels brave enough, she comes out of her cave for some additional pets.

She does not appear to be too interested in playing with wand toys right now, but her foster mom encourages her future home to engage in some play time to increase her confidence. She is such a young little doll and will definitely benefit from some play time.

Evelyn is currently rooming with one of her Persian “sisters” from the same breeder. We feel that she would do well with another fur bud of similar breed and age. She could certainly be adopted with her sister since they enjoy a very symbiotic relationship. One of the pictures shows both of them huddled together in a felt cat cave.

Her foster parents don’t have dogs, but perhaps a gentle dog who loves kitties might be fine for her. Older, cat savvy children would probably be okay for her. Preference will be given to adopters who are familiar with the upkeep of a long haired cat.

Evelyn eats both wet and dry food and she is using her litter box perfectly.

ADOPTION FEE $350. FOSTERED IN MEQUON, WI.
