Violet

This little sweetie is VIOLET. She is a DARK BROWN TABBY DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR BOBTAIL, approximately 3.5 months old. She is spayed, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, microchipped and has her claws.

Violet has the most gorgeous coat pattern.  She has stripes running down her shoulders and back and around her legs, swirls on her sides and spots on her belly, it’s just amazing when you see her in person. And to top it off she has, soul searching,   hazelnut/ green colored eyes.

Violet is a girl who starts out a bit shy, but once she knows she is safe and loved she finds her confidence and will come and crawl into your lap, look for pets and if she’s ready for a nap, will begin to purr and then fall asleep tucked in your lap while you pet her. Like her sister Koda, her personality is also in the calmer, quiet side. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like to play!  Just like her roommates, she’ll go for what ever toy is in front of her at the time. She especially likes the little coiled plastic springs that she can bat about with ease. Of course she has also been known to wrestle with her sister and her other roommates too.  Like all kitties, young and old, she likes to sit in a sunny spot to soak up the warmth, or sit in a cat tree or window watching all the activity outside.  She will start out sleeping next to her foster mom at night, but may change her location a couple times before morning. Violet actually is a little bit of a talker, she feels that her voice is needed when it’s feeding time, just to make certain that her foster mom knows she should not be missed. And like her roommates she likes to eat and play and nap, repeat.

Violet would love to be adopted with her sister Koda, or one of her roommates. But if that’s not possible, she will need to go to a home with another young or young at heart kitty already in the home. She has met some of her foster homes own older cats and so we know she should be fine with older, gentle cats that would not bully her.  As far as we know she has not been around a dog before. But she may be fine, given a slow and proper introduction, with a calm, gentle dog that has lived with young kittens before.  She should be ok with older, quiet and respectful kids, who have lived with young kittens before and understand how kittens need to be approached and picked up and held and how kittens play.  Because she is on the quieter side,  a very busy, active home would be to much for her.

Violet is a sweet little girl, who will bring joy and love to her forever home. ADOPTION FEE $75. FOSTERED IN MILWAUKEE, WI
