Toffee Angel
TOFFEE ANGEL is a LYNX POINT AND CREAM SIAMESE MIX with light blue eyes that look trustingly right at you. He is approx. 2 years old, neutered, has all his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and microchipped. He weighs about 7 lbs.
Toffee Angel is sweet as toffee and his foster mom is convinced he is a feline earth angel. He was brought into the shelter with bilateral SI fractures that have healed with rest. How he got injured is anyone’s guess. The shelter contacted our rescue and of course who can pass up on such a darling kitty, so off into foster care he went.
His foster mom is totally in love with this little guy, and truth be told, if it wasn’t for the fact that one of her own male kitties is rather territorial, this little gem would not be posted for adoption on our website. Toffee loves to be around people and completely appreciates a warm lap, or a chest (especially if you are into taking therapeutic naps). He will lie with or on you for quite some time if you let him, and he loves being gently stroked. If you are into binge watching your favorite shows and appreciate a furry lap warmer, this little Velcro cat will become your BFF in no time.
Because Toffee is a kitty that needs people around him, his foster mom feels that he would do best in a home where he can have his human(s) all to himself. He has met his foster mom’s male kitties and did well with two of her non-territorial kitties, but not well with her territorial male. He would probably be okay with a laid back female kitty with proper, and slow introductions, but he would also do great as a one and only. When you first bring him into your home, he will be timid with exploring his new environment, so providing him with a chill out room where he can settle in initially will be the best setup for him.
His foster mom feels that this gentle boy would be fine with older, cat savvy children. Since his foster home doesn’t have dogs, we have no idea how he would interact with a dog.
Toffee Angel is great with using his litter box. He has a strong preference for wet food and also loves to eat freeze-dried raw food. Because he is so people oriented, we feel his best home will be with someone who is home quite a bit. Leaving him alone for 8+ hours per day would make him sad and lonely. This adorable boy is in need of love, affection and attention, and his foster mom is committed to finding him a great new home where he will be protected, treasured and appreciated for the little fur angel that he is.
