Sunny
SUNNY is a 10 month old adorable ORANGE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR kitten. Sunny is neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, has his rabies and distemper vaccines, is microchipped and dewormed. Sunny has moderate cerebellum hypoplasia. This means that his balance is off and he does wobble and fall at times, but he doesn’t let this get him down.
Sunny came to SPCR from Chicago Animal Control. He is a super outgoing and playful cat. He loves to chase balls, play laser light, and watch squirrels and birds outside. He also loves to lay in the window in the sun and look outside.
Sunny is very friendly and loves people and other cats. He has recently learned to climb up and down carpeted cat trees. He can also go up and down carpeted stairs. Sunny is perfect with the litter box, but he needs a low box so its easy to get in and out.
Sunny is currently eating both canned and dry food and he loves the occasional people food meat treat.
Sunny came to SPCR with skin allergies. This is currently under control with daily prednisone (which is inexpensive). However his rescue vet feels that this may be a food allergy and his adoptive family may want to do a food trial and get him off the prednisone. Unfortunately he is currently fostered with other cats so this is not possible at this time.
