Rivian

RIVIAN is a small boy, a GRAY DOMESTIC MEDIUM HAIR kitten who is 3 1/2 months of age.  He was the runt at birth and still weighs a pound less than his littermates, but he puts effort into catching up.  He eats well and weighs 2.6 lbs.  He has his claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped in preparation for his new loving home.

Rivian arches his back to meet your hand when you reach to pet him.  He enjoys having his cheeks caressed and his neck massaged.  He is very energetic and races around to play soccer with his siblings using a felt ball.  He also likes to pick up crinkle balls in his mouth as he proudly carries them to display his skills.   He has developed his climbing skills to reach the heights of towers and the top of a bookshelf.  Rivian scratches his claws on sisal towers and on cardboard pads as well.

Rivian has an extra social skill that his foster mom appreciates.  Not only does he do a great job of digging a hole and covering his waste, but he is quick to cover the waste of his siblings who may have dumped and dashed in their hurry to play.

Rivian eats Purina Pro Plan Complete dry kitten kibble and several types of wet food including pureed chicken. He enthusiastically dives into the wet food along with treats of chicken baby food or Churu to chase down their meds (dewormer, pain meds after surgery, etc.).

Like most kittens, Rivian needs a feline playmate.  Preference will be given to an applicant who is interested in two kittens from the litter fostered in Savoy, IL.  Rivian might be okay with a calm dog and respectful children aged 12+.
