Sunny

SUNNY is a LYNX POINT SIAMESE SNOWSHOE with blue eyes. He is around 4 years old, has his claws, is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. This adorable boy weighs a little over 7 lbs.

Sunny was found outside fending for himself in a cat colony. Thankfully he was noticed and rescued by a Good Samaritan. After getting him stabilized and neutered, she contacted SPCR to help find this sweet boy a loving forever home.

His foster mom is very taken with this little cat who sports these cute little white paws. Due to his petite size for a kitty boy, she affectionately calls him “Little Shrimp” or “Shrimpy” LOL.

Sunny’s foster mom has had the pleasure of fostering a couple of Lynx Point Siamese cats and has found this breed to be truly special. Lynx Point Siamese are known to be naturally gentle, quiet, laid-back, and one of the most friendly cat breeds. They are also known to be social, playful, intelligent, affectionate and even “passionate” which can be said for Sunny when he comes up to his foster mom to bestow a little smooch on her face.

Sunny enjoys being petted and is just an awesome little cat. We have tested him with other cats, but because of his difficult experience outdoors where he had to fend off other cats for food, he is not at all fond of other felines. He will need a home where he is and will be allowed to remain the King of his Castle. If other cats are planned in the future, please do not apply for him.

His foster parents don’t have dogs, so we can’t comment on how he would be with a dog. A chill and cat-friendly dog might be okay. Sunny has a spot on his belly that he doesn’t care to have touched. Therefore young children would not be appropriate for him since they would not necessarily understand this. Older children who would like to play with him should be fine.

Sunny had a dental and he eats both wet and dry food, with a preference for wet food which assures proper hydration and a soft and silky coat. He uses his litter box perfectly.
