SIMBA is a stunning BLACK SMOKE PERSIAN. He is 10 years old, neutered and is front-paw declawed. This gorgeous boy was surrendered to rescue because his owner could no longer care for him.

What a looker! Simba wears a divine classic black smoke coat with brilliant copper eyes, black nose leather and paw pads. He’s just magnificent. And what a nice boy Simba is! He was a bit shy when he first came into rescue because he was sad at losing the only home he’s ever known. But he’s as sweet as can be and has warmed up nicely to his foster family. Simba isn’t a lap cat, but he loves the company of people and being included in whatever the family is doing.

This boy hasn’t lived with other cats as far as we know and he’s been rooming alone in foster care, but we think given proper introductions, he would get along fine with another feline or two. We’re told that he happily lived with a dog during his last year at his previous home, and we think he would love respectful human kids. He would also make a lovely companion for a retired single or couple looking for a furry. This boy’s not a fan of wet food, although we’ve tested most every kind possible during his time in rescue. But he’s a kibble boy.

Simba’s beautiful coat requires regular Persian maintenance and he’s not really a fan of combing. His previous family had him professionally groomed, so Simba is looking for a home willing to take him to a groomer on a regular basis. But keeping this boy mat-free is a top priority, so his new family will need to be committed to that. Simba just had a dental and comb out, so he’s in tip-top shape and ready to begin the next chapter in his life.
