Merik

Merik is a 3.5 month old Brown Tabby Persian with dark gold eyes. His fur is colored patches of dark brown, black, tan, gray and has the cutest light tan mustache, and floofy tail.  He has had distemper and rabies vaccines, tested FELV/FIV negative, microchipped, dewormed, has his claws and is neutered.

This boy is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see what he looks like as a adult! He has always been a big kitten, so I think he’ll be a larger adult. He has dense fur, so he does require daily brushing/combing. For a smooshy face, he has minimal weepy eyes.

Merik has an affectionate side, but also an independent side.  He greets you on your bed in the morning, and hops up on your bed to get some pats and lovins before going to sleep. He isn’t a lapsitter because of all that fluff and he just gets too hot, but he loves to lay next to you or on your arm. He doesn’t particularly like being carried around. He likes his feet on the ground. Being a kitten, he has places to go, and things to do. There’s a time for petting, but a guy has to have fun. So off he goes, playing with wand toys, fuzzy mice, da rat, rattling balls, bouncing ping pong balls, cat trees, crinkly tunnels, and catnip bubbles.  When he wants attention again, he’ll find you and see what you’re up to, and see if he can help.

He does eat some hard food, but really enjoys his canned food, and freeze dried chicken for treats.

He gets along very well with his brother, Simay, or will have to be adopted with another kitten or young cat in the home. Young children or loud dogs would be too much for him.

Adoption fee is $500
