Maverick and Tucker

MAVERICK and TUCKER are sweet HIMALAYAN brothers purchased from the same breeder two years apart. They are full brothers.

Maverick is a seal point, eight years old, neutered, and has his claws. Tucker is a blue point, six years old, neutered, and has his claws. Both boys are great with litter-box habits and have been given a clean bill of health by our vet.

These gentle lambs were surrendered by a family who loved them, but whose life circumstances changed.

Maverick wears a luscious seal point coat in shades of mocha and dark chocolate. Tucker’s coat is a classic blue point with variegated slate tones. They have identical sparkling robin egg eyes and are a couple of the nicest kitties around.

Maverick is the more outgoing of the two, and has warmed up nicely in foster care. He loves belly rubs! Tucker is more reserved than his brother, but equally sweet. According to their surrendering family, both boys are lap cats who love to be picked up and held.

These boys would do well in most families. We think they’d be fine with one or two other feline siblings, given proper introductions. However, they are terrified of dogs. Older, respectful kids would be great.

These boys need regular grooming, either professionally or at home to stay mat-free. The boys foster mom is a stickler on this and requires a strong commitment to coat maintenance from their new family. They will benefit from regular eye cleaning, but their eyes are less weepy than many Persians.

Because they’ve always been together, we’d like to see them stay together. They will be a treasure to their new family. Apply for them today. ADOPTION FEE $700. FOSTERED IN PEORIA, IL
