Linc

LINC is a CHOCOLATE POINT RAGDOLL with big blue eyes. He is 1 year old, neutered, has all of his claws, is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, dewormed and microchipped. He weighs 12 lbs.

Linc was surrendered to our organization because the owner’s two older female cats were not very kind towards this big and playful love monster. Linc’s foster mom is completely enamored with this sumptuous, funny boy. He is the purrfect foster kitty, truly the cat’s meow. As soon as his foster mom enters the room, Linc comes running for some pets, loving and the oh so important brushing. He allows himself to be picked up and carried around (not too long though, then he gets wiggly because, hey, there is a lot to explore and to do, such as catching flying birds or a big dragonfly on sticks, running to look out the window, racing up and down the hallway to expend some energy, etc.).

While typing up this bio, Linc decided to jump up on the desk, rubbing his face all over his foster mom to assure that she points out just how loving, fluffy and soft he is. Hopefully his future guardians don’t mind having a few kisses administered by a kitty who is quite expressive in his affections.

Linc did enjoy playing with the youngest female kitty in his previous home, so with proper introductions he would probably be ok with another younger and playful, but not too domineering kitty. His foster home doesn’t have any dogs, but we assume due to his outgoing and confident nature, Linc should be ok with dogs who love their feline companions. He has met a couple of little girls and did great with them, but we do want to caution that because he is still so young he could get overstimulated and may give a love nip. He needs a home where someone can interactively play with him a few times a day since he loves jumping up high in the air to catch flying objects.

Linc is great with using his litter box. His foster mom is a firm believer in feeding kitties wet food to assure proper hydration and a soft and silky fur. She feels that he would do best in a home with Persian or Himalayan experience due to the extra upkeep of his long, soft fur that tends to mat, especially under his chin and on his belly. We are looking for a special family that will promise to give this gorgeous boy the love, affection and attention he needs and deserves.
