Lacey Sugarpie

LACEY SUGARPIE is a SILVER SHADED BRITISH SHORTHAIR with stunning green eyes and silky, dense fur.  At 2 ½ years of age, she has spent all but the first 6 months of her life in a great rescue shelter in Kuwait.  Unfortunately, she was overlooked by adopters among many kitties available.  She is petite in size with body weight at 8.2 lbs.  Lacey is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, has her claws, and is microchipped.

Lacey is true to her breed with a round face and big round eyes which combine with her dense fur to remind you of an adorable, teddy bear.  Besides having silver-black tips on her upper body fur, it is more concentrated on the underside of her legs and paws which is a beautiful contrast.  She is as sweet as her name implies and very affectionate too.  She is such a pleasure to be with that her foster mom will sometimes fall asleep with her curled up while kneading in her lap.  Lacey is also happy to meet new people and demonstrate her biscuit-making skills while getting petted.

Lacey has a soft voice and always tells you how happy she is that you have arrived to see her as she is quite social.  She eats some dry food, but mainly waits for her meals of wet food.  She greatly enjoys catnip and gentle play with a wand toy. She also enjoys using the sisal towers to hone her claws and the cardboard pads for lounging. Even though she’s petite, she likes to climb to heights to always sleep on the top of the tower.

Lacey is confident and interested to explore her surroundings.  It isn’t known whether she spent time with children, but seems that she would do well with respectful children age 8 or older.  With proper introductions, Lacey should do well with other laid-back kitties in her adopter’s home, but believed that she would not do well with dogs.
