Golden Nugget

GOLDEN NUGGET is a gorgeous GOLDEN SHADED BRITISH LONGHAIR. He’s around 2-years-old, is neutered and has his claws. Have you ever seen a more beautiful boy? He’s a medium-sized lad, and weighs in at 9 pounds. Nugget made his way to rescue because his family could no longer care for him.

This boy wears a classic golden shaded coat with a warm golden undercoat, tipped in dark brown on his back, flanks, head and tail. His chin, bib and belly are a luscious soft cream, accented by sparkling emerald eyes with jet-black eyeliner. Can you say beautiful?

But here’s the best part – Nugget is not only a looker, but he has an exceptional personality too! This gentle lamb loves people and when you bend down to pet him, he leaps in the air to meet you halfway. Now, that’s what we call a considerate boy! He’s just one of the friendliest kits we’ve ever fostered.

This boy will fit nicely into almost any home. He loves toys, cat trees, chasing mink wants, and just good old-fashioned belly scratching sessions. His gorgeous, medium-length coat will benefit from occasional grooming, but he doesn’t have the heavy undercoat like Persians. So, all the beauty without all the work!

We think Nugget would do fine with another laid-back fur bud or two, given proper introductions. When Nugget first came into rescue, he was not neutered and roomed with another unneutered male. In that situation, Nugget showed himself to be the alpha male. He’d be very happy being an only cat. Although now that he’s neutered, we think Nugget will calm down and learn to cohabitate with another fur bud or two. But he would do best with a non-alpha feline who doesn’t mind letting Nugget be the top dog, er, cat. Older, respectful kids are Nugget’s idea of a dream come true!

Better stop what you’re doing and apply for this sweet boy today. He won’t be here long. ADOPTION FEE $400. FOSTERED IN PEORIA, IL
