Flynn
Flynn is a 5 month old RED AND WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR, who is also a tripod. He is completely vetted, which includes distemper and rabies vaccines, microchip, deworming, testing for FELV/FIV which was negative, neutering, and has his claws. He is 100% with his litterbox.
Flynn is such a nice little man! He’s quick to purr, likes to be carried around and likes to sit on your lap. I don’t know if he wishes not to meow or can’t, but he’s very quiet. He likes to wrestle and run with others, but you can also find him playing by himself. He is oftentimes taking a nap with another cat/kitten. So he will need a buddy to pal around with.
He lost his hind leg, because he was born with a birth defect. His hip joint was not in a proper position, surgery couldn’t have fixed it, and he didn’t have a knee cap. The choice to amputate was confirmed by an orthopedic surgeon. But Flynn doesn’t miss it. Infact, when he did have it, it just got in the way. Now he flies like the wind when he runs. He doesn’t climb, but likes to stay on ground level. He does stairs without missing a beat, but he doesn’t climb on cat trees or jump on furniture. If we put stairs at the foot of our bed, he will climb up. I’ve seen him once on a cat tree, and that was no higher than 3′, but other than that he sleeps on a cat bed on the bottom of the cat tree, in the kitchen, where everyone hangs out.
Flynn likes to play with wand toys, play mats, electronic toys, da rat, lasers, and anything else that looks interesting. No small children, and his forever home must have another kitten or younger cat in residence. Adoption fee $125. Fostered in Campbellsport, WI.
