Enzo

ENZO is a sweet, 4 year old, neutered, front declawed, ORANGE TABBY PERSIAN.  He has lost an eye to a viral illness and his other eye has some scarring; because of this, his depth perception is a litte off at times.  He is just over 11 pounds.  He has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to his forever home.

Enzo came from a home where his people loved him very much; unfortunately, the other kitty in the home did not love  him and was causing him enough stress that he was no longer using the litter box.    Since being taken out of the home and in his own room, he has not had a single mis-step with his litter box usage, even after being exposed to the other kitties in the foster home.

Enzo doesn’t mind other cats- as long as there is no alpha in the home, but really basically ignores them in favor of his foster mom.  He loves following her around the house.  He hasn’t met a closed door that he likes.  It does not matter if there are other kitties in the house to keep him company, if his people are behind closed doors….. he is yowling for that door to be opened!  He loves all the wet and dry food, and will need to be regulated on how much he eats, as he never wants to leave the food closet.

Enzo loves to lay by the window in the sun and watch everything outside.  He is chatty and does not like to be left in a room with a closed door.  He loves to play with all manner of toys. A home with slow introductions to any animal should be fine, dogs or cats. His fur is long and fluffy- he will need daily grooming to keep out the mats, which he mostly tolerates.  He also has a significant skin overlap on his upper jaw, so much so that food gets stuck around the corners of his mouth, so he will also need his mouth wiped after every meal.  He was in a home with children and loved them very much.  He loves to curl up by his foster mom.  Being front declawed he will probably have pretty significant arthritis in his paws as he ages and may need softer litter at that time, but at this time, they do not seem to bother him and he is just using regular clumping clay litter.
