Aya

AYA is a beautiful 3.5 month old SEALPOINT SIAMESE with blue eyes. She is up to date on distemper and rabies vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, tested felv/fiv negative, spayed, and 100% litterbox.

Aya came into SPCR in a not too great a frame of mind. She hissed at everyone who would listen. Wherever and whoever had her prior, did not treat her too kindly. However, with time and love, she’s turned into a great kitten! Understandably, she’s afraid of strangers and a little skittish, but she is really a little love.

Aya doesn’t like being picked up, but when she trusts you, she’ll climb on your lap and want pettings and lovins.  She’s a Siamese who is more sensitive to loud noises, so a quieter home is a requirement.  She’ll need someone who is patient and will give her the time to feel comfortable in her forever home. She doesn’t like to be pushed into things, like lapsitting, petting, etc, but rather it’s her idea and you take her lead.

She’s a quiet little girl who follows you to see what you’re up, get in some wand play time,  pettings, a little combing (which she loves, and will greet you when you get up in the morning.  Sometimes she likes lots of pettings and attention, and other times, she just wants to quietly play by herself or nap in a cozy corner.
She loves wand toys, tunnels, da bird rat, cat trees, and hanging out in the enclosed catio to watch nature.

Aya will definitely need a home that is quiet, without dogs or young kids.  She also will need a home with another kitten or adult, that will require slow introductions. She’s such a sweet little girl who has come such a long way already, and will only get better with time, love and patience.
