ASHLEY is a beautiful BLUE BRITISH LONGHAIR. She is nine months old, spayed and has her claws. This lamb was born to British Shorthair parents and has been in foster care (along with several littermates) for about ten weeks while getting up to date on vetting.

The British Longhair breed is now recognized by The International Cat Association – a variant of British Shorthairs. All we can say is WOW. What a gorgeous cat! This bunny wears a luxurious medium-length coat made of the softest fur imaginable. Her long tail is nothing short of stunning, and Ashley carries it around like a proud high-flying flag. True to her breed, this lamb has large almond-shaped, wide-set gold eyes, giving her a sweet beanie baby expression.

Not only does this girl look sweet, but she is sweet with an even, calm disposition. Ashley is a bit on the shy side but is warming up in rescue and learning that humans are sources of food, affection and fun. She LOVES to be petted! We expect this girl will take a bit time to adjust to her new home, but within a short time she will no doubt be an active, loving member of the family.

This tiny lamb loves the company of other cats, and we hope to place her with another member of her litter or in a home that already has other felines. Being this gorgeous doesn’t come without work, however, and Ashley will need regular grooming to stay mat free. She was shaved when she came into rescue and is growing out now – so, she’ll need to be combed weekly at home or professionally groomed regularly.

Ashely is very food motivated and loves the wet food that she gets twice a daily. Meals are seriously the highlight of her day, and she is asking to go to a home where she can continue to get wet food. As mentioned earlier, resident cats are a plus, and we think older, respectful kids would be just fine with this sweet girl. With proper introductions, we think she’d likely do fine with an older, calm dog.
