ARIEL is a beautiful, tiny 8 lb, 2 year-old spayed female PLATINUM MINK TONKINESE with all of her claws and bright blue eyes. She has been fully vetted and is ready to go to her forever home.

Ariel is a talkative chatterbox once she gets used to her surroundings and wants to tell you all about her day.  She’s a very sweet and affectionate kitty on her own time. She came to SPCR when her owner could no longer care for her.

Ariel takes time to feel comfortable in her surroundings and can be timid at first, but when she feels confident, her elevator butt goes nonstop and she rolls around on any flat surface. She enjoys back and neck scritches as well. She is a relatively quiet and calm cat but does enjoy playing with wand toys and chasing balls, springs and whatever rolls.

In a new environment, Ariel is shy and reserved at first. She’d do best in a quieter home with a stable routine.

Ariel would be fine as an only cat, but she is adaptable to other animals if they are not too energetic or playful.  She actually laid right down next to my biggest bully with him swatting her despite the swats, she just cuddled right in.  She has just recently been introduced to a dog. She would do best with a calm, gentle, respectful dog. She enjoys the company of cats who want to groom and snuggle. She has been fostered in a home with two adults.  She has not been exposed to children, but older, respectful kids would be ok.
