Meet Rufus!

Rufus is an absolute young soul for being a 13 yo kitty! This gorgeous, male DEVON REX is a complete joy to live with, bringing a wonderful mix of adventure, curiosity, and deep affection to his foster home. He sports a unique, incredibly soft curly chocolate coat that magically shifts from rich brown to deep black depending on how the light hits it.

Rufus is a true “helper” who adores his people immensely. He will happily follow you from room to room to supervise your chores, chat with you along the way (he’s wonderfully talkative and actually responds when called!), and greet new visitors with a friendly, open heart. He has a hilarious, adventurous streak and loves to explore the world from up high like the top level of cat trees or the top of kitchen cabinets. He’s also an expert at stealthily wandering into open closets or cabinets to investigate when your back is turned! And when his exploring is done, your lap will be one of his favorite places to nap.

This adaptable gentleman gets along beautifully with other cats, dogs (with proper introductions), and respectful children. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully up-to-date on his vaccinations.
