While he had a heartbreaking start—found abandoned on a street corner in a taped-shut box—his resilient spirit hasn’t skipped a beat. He has emerged as a confident, “fearless” companion ready to bring a whirlwind of energy and affection to a lucky family. Waffles is up-to-date on his vaccinations, is microchipped and neutered.

True to his Bengal heritage, Waffles is high-energy, highly intelligent, and incredibly “dog-like” in his devotion. We estimate that he’s just about a year old, so he still has a bit of growing to do, beyond his current weight of 9 pounds. Waffles isn’t a cat who sits on the sidelines; he wants to be part of the action.

• The Water Enthusiast: Waffles has a fascination with water! He’s been upgraded to a fountain to keep his “splash parties” contained, and he just might want to supervise your morning shower or sink activities.
• The Sentinel: His favorite hangout is the highest perch on the cat tree, where he spends his time bird-watching and monitoring the neighborhood.
