Jada

JADA is a sleek, LILAC LYNX POINT MUNCHKIN with bright blue eyes.  Her front legs are about 4” long and she is Polydactyl on all four paws (extra toe on each).  She is just under 2 yrs of age and weighs 8 1/2 lbs.  She is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is spayed, has her claws and has been microchipped in preparation to be matched to a new, loving family.

Jada was surrendered to SPCR due to a medical emergency that required a veterinary procedure to save her life.  We were able to provide just in time.  She has been a great patient…to medicate, to clean, and to trim her toenails.  She repeatedly wiggled her way out of two different medical onesies, but demonstrated she had no interest in her stitches so she won the war.  She is an easy keeper with short fur and little maintenance.

Jada is a confident cat who is well socialized.  In her previous home, she lived with cats, small dogs, and humans.  She is quick to approach for pets and to sit in your lap.  She is equally happy to greet company and sit in their lap as well.  Jada is very kitten-like with a lot of energy as she leaps to catch the feather toys flying from a wand.  She likes crinkle balls and any other small object she can bat around.  Jada is very inquisitive as she likes to follow her human from room-to-room.  She also likes to sleep with her human and is polite in that she chooses the foot of the bed.  Surprisingly, she has no difficulty jumping in and out of bed.

Jada is highly motivated by tubes of Churu and enjoys the Sheeba brand of wet food (and no other type as advised by her previous owners).  She is less particular about which high-quality, dry food is provided.   Jada is prone to over-eat so an adopter should not free-feed this girl.

Jada is enthusiastic in sharpening her claws on the infinity, cardboard lounges (horizontal figure 8 shape) and on the sisal legs of towers.  She isn’t aware of her stature as she is fearless.  She can jump between platforms to reach all levels of the cat tower.  She can also join a human on the sofa at will.

Jada would do well in an active home with multiple humans including children.
