BLIZZARD is a 10 year old,  11 lb male, all WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR that is looking for a special home. He is current on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and has his claws. He also had a senior blood panel run and a dental cleaning.

Blizzard was adopted out by SPCR 8 years ago when he was rescued from Chicago Animal control. Unfortunately his Adopter recently had health problems and is no longer able to take care of him.

Blizzard is vision impaired (he is not completely blind, he does see shadows), but he doesn’t let that stop him from living a normal life.  Blizzard is a total lap cat.  He loves to sit on your lap or next to you if you prefer. He loves to sleep in bed with his foster parents and follow them around the house.  Blizzard is great with other cat friendly cats or can be an only cat. He even likes to lay in a cat tree.  Blizzard is only moderately playful.  Blizzard is very good with both men and women.

Blizzard has never lived with children, but older children should be fine. He would do best in a quiet home that doesn’t move furniture around a lot. A huge plus with Blizzard is that he doesn’t ever jump on counters or the table! He is currently eating both canned and dry food.
