Zorro
ZORRO is an amazing GRAY DOMESTIC LONGHAIR who is the very definition of SURVIVOR!
He is around 8 years old, neutered and has his claws. He weighs about 10 pounds. Zorro was found as a neglected stray wandering Chicago streets, very thin and with a severely damaged eye. SPCR frequently takes in special needs cats to help the big shelters and Zorro just tugged at our heart strings!
He received immediate vet attention and soon had the bad eye removed and his matted fur shaved. Underneath his fur were scars upon scars indicating an extremely difficult and painful life. However Zorro has blossomed in foster care, healing beautifully, eating well and resting. He has had a full dental and his bloodwork indicates a healthy kitty who just needed a chance!
Zorro is EXTREMELY SWEET, MELLOW and gets along immediately with other cats. He loves attention and is just a wonderful boy.
He is moderately active and loves his warm bed as he continues to grow back his fur and gain weight.
The best home for him would be loving, mature (a busy household with kids would probably be too much) and willing to provide a secure retirement home off the streets for this very special boy!
