Zoey
ZOEY is a BLUE AND CREAM POINT HIMALAYAN with dense, cottony fur, and almond-shaped, blue eyes. Her floofy fur makes her appear much bigger than her actual size of 7.6lb. Her focused, facial expressions make her appear older than her actual age just under 3 years. Zoey tested negative for FIV/FeLV, has her claws and is now microchipped in preparation for a new, loving home.
While Zoey doesn’t have a smooshed face that requires extra cleaning, she does have a dense coat that will require daily grooming at home and occasional trips to a professional groomer. You can see some photos posted where her coat appears long and luxurious, but it camouflages matting in the undercoat and matting tight to the skin on her chest. This is why you can see other photos where she has been professionally groomed to ensure she begins her new life with an adopter who can focus on building a relationship instead of removing matts that would certainly arise until she settles into her new home.
Zoey has the beauty and presence of a queen. She rarely makes a sound except to hiss and growl at unfamiliar cats including her roommate when he returned from a dental. The noise is all posturing with zero acts of aggression. Zoey is very interested in humans and greets them at the door. She does not believe food should come from a can and much prefers her crunchy, dry food. She had zero interest in Churu until the human wiped some inside her cheek and now believes those colorful squeezy tubes contain the elixir of royalty.
Zoey will need high places as she always perches on the top platform of either cat tower or on the wide, window ledge to overlook her queendom. In her world, Teemo is but a royal subject who vies to share in her Churu-slurping sessions. She seems to be new to the concept of toys, but does enjoy her loose-leaf catnip.
Zoey is a confident cat who walks with her tail held high. She arrived with her housemate, Teemo, and would be content to be adopted with him or to live with another calm cat after a proper/slow, introductory period. Her previous home did not include dogs and she would prefer to not learn about them now. However, it could be discussed if you love her bio and already have a calm canine. Zoey lived with small children and prefers to avoid them going forward so children must be at least 12 years old. Zoey would like a calm household where the humans have experience with her breed or another breed that requires frequent grooming.
