Zeke

ZEKE is a gorgeous SEAL POINT SIAMESE with glacier-ice-blue eyes, who is about to have his 6th birthday!  He is neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, weighs 9lbs, and has his claws.

Zeke is a cool cat who was reluctant to warm up when he arrived as he was confused about his losing his home.  After a week in foster care, he decided to embrace the change and he laid in the warmth of his foster mom’s lap for 3 hours.  Ever since then, Zeke wants to be in a warm lap or next to one of his foster parents with every opportunity.  When no human is available, Zeke crawls under the comforter that is thrown over the sofa to create his own cocoon.  Zeke is such an intelligent, sensitive, and sweet boy who loves to be petted and wants to be with people all the time.  He enjoys bunny-kicking his catnip toys and tossing other small toys into the air.  He has recently started to play with DaBird as well.

Zeke was surrendered by his owner who obtained him from a breeder as a kitten at the same time as a German Shepard puppy.  They were best friends.  Even though he didn’t have a feline housemate, Zeke has done exceptionally well to meet other cats in the foster home.  He is curious, shows zero fear and zero aggression.  He loves to gallivant through large areas and explore every nook and cranny.  He is lean and athletic so his curiosity will take him to most heights until he is trained on boundaries.

Zeke doesn’t mind being picked up, carried for a short time, placed in a pet carrier, and combed, nor does he mind having his toenails trimmed by the foster mom.  The vet said she would have estimated Zeke’s age to be much younger if it had not been for the surrender paperwork that says otherwise.

Zeke can enjoy attention from a male human who is sitting down, but doesn’t want a man walking around him.  For this reason, a house without men would be preferred or at least a very patient man.  As Zeke has not lived with children, a house without children is preferred, but we could discuss the applicant’s particular home environment if the children are over age 12.  It appears that Zeke would be fine with an another feline or a canine in the home if they are cat friendly and not overbearing.
