Vera

VERA is an absolutely adorable CALICO SIBERIAN. She is 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, has her claws, is current on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Vera currently weighs 10.5 lbs, and the vet thinks that she could benefit losing 1-2 lbs.

Vera came to SPCR from a very loving home (who had purchased her from a breeder), but they unfortunately could no longer care for her.  She will start out a little shy, but quickly warms up because she absolutely loves people!!

For her age Vera is a relatively calm cat who prefers being by people and being petted.  She does not care for being picked up and carried around at this time.   One of her other favorite activities is sitting in a window seat looking out the window watching what is going on outside. She also enjoys “helping” her foster mom when she is on the computer. When Vera went to the vets office everyone there fell in love with her, she has such a loving personality and was just purring away!

Vera eats both wet and dry food.  She uses her litterbox perfectly.  She also enjoys Churu treats.  Vera has a lot of fur, and it is very soft.  She does not mind being brushed and her foster was able to cut her nails without too much trouble.

Vera would do best in a home where she is either the only cat, or with one other easy-going cat (she arrived with Winston, who is also available for adoption).  She would be fine with an older very calm dog who is used to being around cats. Older children would be fine as well.
