Truffles

TRUFFLES is a CHOCOLATE POINT RAGDOLL MIX with lovely light green eyes in an adorable little pixie face. She is 5 years old, has her claws, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. She weighs almost 8 lbs.

This precious little kitty came to us from a shelter where she spent over a month in confinement. Upon arrival at her foster home, she had a couple of episodes where she got either spooked or stressed (perhaps even from a previous traumatic event) and made her unhappiness known by some rather loud vocalization. Foster mom talked quietly to her, gave her space to chill out, and once the temper tantrum was over, this little cat is actually a very quiet fur companion.

Truffles enjoyed spending an average of 20 minutes on foster mom’s lap when she was confined to her foster room. Eventually it became evident that this little lady wanted to be released from any confinement, and is now allowed to roam around freely. She has met foster mom’s three mellow boy kitties and is completely unperturbed by their existence.

She is an absolute doll, easy to pick up, but her human(s) will need to learn that a swishy tail means that it’s time to adore her visually, and not try to pick her up. She follows her foster mom around and makes it very clear she wants and needs to be part of a family.

Foster mom feels that older, cat savvy children would be fine for Truffles. It is unknown how she would be with a dog, but she is so confident that a mellow dog in her future would probably be okay.

Truffles has been perfect with using her litter box. She prefers wet food over dry, which is great because it assures proper hydration and keeps her lovely fur silky and soft.

This adorable girl is in need of love, affection and attention, and her foster mom is committed to finding her a great new home where she will always be protected, treasured and treated with understanding and compassion.
