Tripsy and Dipsy

TRIPSY and GENERAL DIPSY GRIEVOUS are LYNX POINT SIAMESE siblings. They are 1 year old, spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccinations, and FIV/FeLV negative. They have all of their claws. Tripsy and Dipsy have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). These two siblings are bonded. When they first arrived Dipsy wasn’t feeling well and needed to go to the doctor. It was quickly discovered that veterinarian visits are easier if both kitties go, even if just one has the appointment.

Dipsy uses a carpeted ramp to reach the top of his foster parent’s bed or climbs up on the blankets using his nails. He gets to the litter box without issue. He can walk around on carpet with only the occassional tip over. Tripsy is the wobblier one. She can take a few steps on carpet before falling over. She can make it to the litter box (provided a convient location), but she cannot use the carpeted ramp. Tripsy can frequently be found in the “CH cat sploot” pose (on her stomach with her back legs stretched out behind her). Neither cat can manage house stairs safely.

Both kittens get on well other cats they’ve met, although Tripsy will initially growl. They are playful, curious kittens and may be too much for older cats who like their space. Dipsy especially will be very forward with all new friends.

They are friendly and extremely affectionate. It is common for kittens and cats with CH to not like being held, but that does not apply to either sibling. If someone would carry them around all day, they’d be happy. They love snuggling with people and other cats. Not much bothers these wonderful kittens.

They have interacted well with respectful children. They are ok with gentle dogs. A forever home with CH or similar special needs experience is preferred.
