Tessa

TESSA is a friendly 5-6 month old BLACK AND WHITE DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR kitten. She is spayed, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and has her claws.

Tessa has very unique markings and two cute black dots on her nose. The vet thinks that she is going to be a long, lean cat when she grows up! Tessa will start out shy around new people, but once comfortable she is a loving kitten.

Tessa is a relatively calm kitten (compared to others). She does like to play with the laser pointer and wand toys. Her absolute favorite are springs though and she will often be found carrying them around the house in her mouth.  When not playing you will often find her napping in a cat tree or looking out the window.  She will sit on the couch with her foster mom at night when she is reading. She enjoys sleeping at the foot of her foster parents bed at night.

Tessa is living with her friends Henry, Spots and Gidget and she would love to be adopted with one of them. She could also be adopted to a home with another friendly, calm cat. Tessa could also be an only cat for someone who works from home or is home a lot to give her attention.  She has not been around dogs, but a calm dog who has been around cats before would be fine (given proper introductions). Respectful kids (age 7+) who would play with her would also be fine.

Tessa eats both wet and dry food and would love a home that would continue to feed her both. She uses the litterbox and scratching post appropriately.
