Stark

STARK is an absolutely stunning SILVER SHADED MAINE COON.  He is 3-4 years old, neutered, current on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and has his claws.

It is not very often that we have such an amazing Maine Coon available for adoption. In addition to his striking good looks, he also has an amazing personality! He loves people and will lay with you on the couch for short amounts of time. He likes to sleep in bed with his foster parents at night. He really enjoys watching birds and rabbits outside, so he would love a home with many windows for him to sit in.  He likes to follow his foster mom around the house and see what she is up to. He is often quite helpful with it comes to typing on the computer or putting dishes in the dishwasher.

Stark is not a super playful guy, however he does enjoy playing with a wand toy. He does get the zoomies every once in a while, and will go running and skidding around the house.

Stark’s foster parents absolutely fell in love with him and were hoping to be able to keep him. Unfortunately, one of their resident cats (a Persian) does not feel the same way that they do about Stark.  Due to his size, he can be intimidating for timid cats (like the resident Persian) He can sense that she is scared of him so he will then follow her wherever she goes just to bother her.  Because of this his foster parents feel that the best home for Stark would be one where there is 1 other confident cat (max) in the house.  He does get along wonderfully with the other more confident cat in the house no problem. Stark could also be an only cat. He has not been around dogs, however a cat-friendly dog would also be ok.  School aged kids who would enjoy playing with him with a wand toy would be fine.

Stark is currently eating both wet and dry food and loves both. He is also a fan of Churu treats. He is wonderful with his litterbox and uses a scratching post appropriately. Stark does not particularly like to travel, so preference will be given to applicants who are within driving distance.
