Snowball

SNOWBALL is a lovable, LYNX POINT SIAMESE, female cat with big, gorgeous blue eyes! She is about 2 years old, spayed, has all her claws, is fully vaccinated and Felv/FIV negative.

Snowball came to SPCR from another rescue where she was found as a stray, so we don’t know anything about her background. Her foster parents do believe that she was likely part of a loving home at some time in her life because she is friendly towards people, loves to have her chin scratched and she will roll over and ask for belly rubs too!

It took Snowball a good week to decompress and become comfortable with her foster parents and new surroundings, and now she is a loving, silly little girl that is starting to have a lot to say (especially at dinner time!). Snowball is currently in a room with another foster cat and it took about two weeks for them to adjust, but now they get along just fine. So with proper introductions, she will likely do well with another non-dominant cat. Her foster parents don’t know if she has been exposed to dogs, so preference will be given to households without dogs or with very respectful dogs that will ignore her. Snowball does get spooked easily by loud noises and sudden movements, so respectful, older children would be best.

Snowball likes to have a safe space where she can go when she’s feeling unsure and at her foster parents house, that’s either her kitty condo or her foster parent’s arms. The last thing to mention is that she is being listed as special needs because she’s on a specific, non-prescription food that we highly recommend you continue. Snowball is waiting for just the right home that will be patient and let her get comfortable on her own time!
