SIMBA is a 1 year old fully vetted purebred BROWN TABBY MAINE COON.  He is 14 lbs. Originally from a cattery in Texas, he was brought into a shelter in down state Illinois and then to SPCR.

Simba had entropian surgery on both eyes 2 weeks ago. The fur will grow back and he will require no further medical treatment.

Simba loves to play!  He is strong and needs some heavy duty wand toys to play with.  He has already broken 2 in his foster home. He also likes catnip toys and the ball toys that go around a track.

Simba gets over stimulated easily at this time, so he is looking for a cat experienced home where he can be an only cat or with one other confident female cat. He does enjoy attention and petting.  You can hold him, but his new owner needs to understand when he is done.

Simba is currently eating both dry and canned food.  He is fully vetted including neutered,  rabies and distemper vaccine,  FIV/FeLV negative and microchipped.
