SILVIA is a beautiful and unique 3 year old SILVER TABBY ORIENTAL SHORTHAIR.  She has lovely Green eyes.  She has been spayed and has all of her claws.  She is just about 10 pounds and has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.

Silvia came to rescue from a retired breeder.  She is just learning how to be a cat and is still very shy.  She was very wary of human contact when she first arrived and has made wonderful strides.  She will now plop on her side, rub against her foster mom, and she is starting to follow her foster mom around the house.  She is 100% with her litter box, but she is a lanky kitty and needs a high, long litter box, or maybe a covered box. She enjoys playing with wands, mice, balls, and springs.

Silvia will do best in a home where her owner is home more than they are away.  She is VERY smart and has figured out how to get into the closet to get at the toys, food and other things kept in the closet for foster care.  Her new adopter will need experience with an active chatty cat breed similar to Abyssinians and Siamese, while she does not talk a lot yet, she has become more vocal.   She has lived with multiple cats, and does well with most cats, but will need to be with non-dominant kitties and very slow introductions.  She is wary of the resident boxer, but will be in the same room with him.  She will not do well with small children, older respectful children may be ok.
