Roo

ROO is a handsome BLUE POINT SNOWSHOE SIAMESE. He is 2 years old, weighs approximately 10 lbs., has all of his claws, and is FIV/FeLV negative.

Roo is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and play. His favorite toys are fishing pole and/or wand, and laser toys. He currently has an automated laser toy that he loves to play with and enjoys a wand toy with a feather and/or wormy on the end. He is fun to watch as he hides and stalks his toys. Roo enjoys being brushed and snuggles with his human. His favorite spot in the foster room is on top of the cat tree where he can look out the window or laze away the day sleeping. When his room gets a bit cool, he likes to lay under the bed by the heat vent or in his cat bed cave that is on a heating pad.

Roo is Special Needs because he has Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome, which is not life-threatening. Roo will need to be medicated for the remainder of his life for this condition. He is easy to medicate. Roo also is on a prescription diet because of his predisposition to urinary crystals.

The perfect home for him would be a calm adult-only home where he is the only pet. He may be okay with older respectful children. Applicants with experience in Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome and/or experienced with Siamese, Oriental, or Abyssinian breeds are preferred.
