Raven

RAVEN is an adorable six-year-old TORTIE PERSIAN; she’s spayed and has claws. We don’t know much about Raven’s background except that she was rescued by a kind lady who knew Raven was at risk of being put outside.

This submissive, gentle lamb wears a gorgeous black coat with splashes of orange throughout. She has breed-standard black nose leather and paw pads and sees the world through brilliant copper eyes. Her cottony coat is typical of her breed, and she needs to be combed regularly to avoid mats. The great news is that Raven likes to be combed and can easily be groomed at home. She had a few mats when she came into rescue and was very tolerant of her foster family grooming her.

Raven gets along very well with other cats and is a bit on the shy side toward humans she does not know. She has developed trust with her foster family and will allow them to approach and pet her. (She loves being petted!) We expect her to be shy initially in her new home but are confident that she will soon be comfortable in her new digs. Given proper introductions, we think she would also be fine with a gentle dog who would not bark or chase her. Older, respectful kids would be great.

Raven came in rescue with a partner, Shadow (also available on this website). They get along great and are good companions but do not have to go home together. Raven is fond of her wet food and “cat soup” treats and is asking to go to a home where they will feed her what she loves. She’s a gorgeous, gentle sweetheart looking for a patient home where she can blossom in her own time. This baby looks forward to spending the rest of her life being the adored princess she was meant to be.
