Pumpkin

PUMPKIN is a RED VAN PERSIAN, with big round copper eyes. He is 10 years old, front-paw declawed, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. This little champ weighs a bit over 10 lbs.

Pumpkin came to us from a home where he was much loved, but due to health reasons his owner could no longer take care of him.

Pumpkin’s foster mom has quickly fallen in love with this adorable little guy. What’s not to love about a little squishy face that looks trustingly up to a person while happily enjoying some soft head rubs. He comes running as soon as he sees his foster mom or when she calls him. He knows it’s time for some brushing, which he very much enjoys. He is good with having his eyes cleaned, and thankfully they are not too prone to weeping.

When his foster mom lies down for a therapeutic nap, Pumpkin comes to snuggle up on her chest for some loving, especially around his precious face and cute ears. When she watches her favorite Netflix show, this little treasure likes to spend some lap time to get some extra cuddles in. He is simply adorable and oh so sweet.

Pumpkin is great with other kitties, and just a wonderful and easy going fluff ball to have around. He likes sitting on the cat tree and he can spend hours just looking out the window watching birds, butterflies, and the softly swaying plants and trees.

His foster parents don’t have any dogs, but assume an older, chill and cat friendly dog would be okay. We haven’t tested him with children either, but because he is such an easy going little cat, cat savvy children should be okay for him as well.

Pumpkin eats both wet and dry food. He had a senior blood panel done which shows him in great shape and will come to his new home with a very recent dental cleaning. He is using his litter box perfectly. Come and get him before his foster mom decides to keep this little treasure all to herself .
