Pryce

PRYCE is a dashing WHITE PERSIAN with large copper eyes.  His fur is getting softer as it grows out from a Lion Cut and that he is eating high quality food.  Pryce is 7 years young and weighs 9.5 lbs.  He is up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is neutered, has his claws and is microchipped in preparation for a new, loving home.

Pryce arrived with his fur matted down to the skin which required being shaved while sedated.  He emerged with a handsome lion cut and appeared happy to be pain-free.  He thoroughly enjoys eating Royal Canin for Long-Haired Cats dry food.  He’ll lick at some wet food, but doesn’t eat enough for it to be a primary food source and he’ll sporadically eat some treats.

Pryce is a lover and needs human contact!  He wants to be glued to your hip on the sofa or in your lap.  He stretches out his front legs in Super Man poses with pure contentment and audible purring.  Besides his love of people, he likes other cats.  Dogs were present in his previous home, although it isn’t known if he had direct contact with them.  It seems he would be fine with a mild-mannered dog.  More than likely, he would do also well with children who have been taught how to be gentle with a kitty.

Pryce plays with some small toys such as feathers and rabbit fur, but doesn’t seem interested catnip.  He appropriately scratches his claws on the sisal poles of the cat towers and the Water Hog Rugs at the external doors.  All cats seem to like these indestructible rugs.

Like most Persians, his eyes are weepy and require daily cleaning which he doesn’t mind.  He also doesn’t mind getting combed and getting his toenails trimmed.  He is just a sweet boy.
