PRINCE GEORGE is an adorable 9-month-old BROWN TABBY BRITISH SHORTHAIR kitten. He weighs six pounds, is neutered and has his claws.

This sweet boy is an amazing specimen of his breed with a charming round face, innocent, wide eyes, and a short, dense, bunny-soft coat. Georgie’s luxurious proud tail flies high behind him, like a flag waving in the breeze. This boy was surrendered to rescue with littermates who’ve since been adopted. He’s is a medium-energy boy with typical kitten curiosity and absolutely loves other cats. He has particularly fallen for foster resident, Gus. For this reason, our first choice is to place the prince in a home where he’ll have at least one other fur-sibling.

This gentle lamb is shy in the company of humans and is asking for a quiet, patient home where he can blossom at his own pace. When the prince first came into rescue, he would hide any time his foster family came into the room. Now he allows familiar humans to approach him, and he LOVES to be petted What a purr bug! Still, when people he doesn’t know visit, Georgie will hide.

For this reason, the new royal family will need to use best practices when acclimating George to his new kingdom, including keeping him in a safe room until he feels at home. But look out, because once George feels safe in his surroundings, he will wiggle his way into your heart. It WILL happen! George is very food-motivated and is asking to go home where he can continue to have his canned kitten food.
