POTPOURII is a shy 1-2 year old female TORTOISESHELL EXOTIC SHORTHAIR that has been spayed, and has large Golden eyes. She has all of her claws and is just over 6 pounds. She has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.

Potpourii came from a breeding home.  Her owner was no longer able to care for her.  She has been 100% with her litter box.

Potpourii has lived with multiple cats, but is still very shy.  If she goes to a home with other kitties, she should not be in a home with a strong alpha.  She would probably spend most of her time hiding.  She is still learning that the hand will not be rough with her.  She really does not like to be picked up.  She eats both dry and wet food, but startles easily and will leave the food to hide.

Potpourii is just starting to be more chatty.  She will need a patient, quiet home.  She is still hesitant to be pet, once your hand is on her, however she does the butt elevator, her belly however IS A TRAP!  Because of her shyness a home with young children, or a lot of children, is not recommended.  Also, it is unclear if she has ever been around dogs.  A dog that ignores her would probably be fine, but a dog that barks a lot would probably not be the best home for her.  She loves to swat at the resident cats under the door, but her foster mom has not seen her play with any toys as of yet.
