Hello! I am PENNY and this is RAGS and we are LILAC POINT RAGDOLLS. We are up to date on shots, fixed, and have all of our claws. I may be 13 years old and Rags may be 11 years old, but we believe age is just a number!

Don’t let our haircuts fool you, we normally have long fur. The food giver hasn’t seen us without being shaved but we told her we are like big clouds when we have our full manes. As you can imagine, it isn’t easy being beautiful and we can use some help. An occasional brush or two should be just what we need to keep us looking dapper.

We are pretty content whether you’re around or not. I like to sit in my bed and Rags likes to sit in the cat tree, but when the food giver comes in…we are all about getting attention! The food giver and her miniature food giver come in our room to read stories and we like to perch up right along with to hear the stories too!

I am very vocal about when I went attention so you don’t have to worry about me not telling you what I want! I’m a gal who knows what I want and I will get it…if you don’t pet me when I want to be pet, I will tap you until you get the message.

Rags may look like a grumpy grandpa, but he is a big teddy bear too. He likes attention just like me even though he isn’t as demanding. He actually gets around quite a bit too and likes to play the occasional game of roll the ball (as much as an older lad can). I mean, good for him staying active!

I know we sound absolutely fabulous (because we are), but hey getting older does cause a little more maintenance sometimes. I do require medication daily (which is why we are listed as special needs) to keep my thyroid in check but I am a true champ with taking it. I know I have to take it to keep me going strong so I don’t put up a fuss! The food giver says her other cats who need medication aren’t nearly as nice as I am about it so I must be pretty easy.

We are two elderly folks just looking for a place to retire. We would prefer a home with no other pets, or small kids.  We know our forever home is out there and we cannot wait to meet our forever food givers ♡
