PENNY is a 9 month old female DILUTE CALICO SCOTTISH FOLD/BRITISH LONGHAIR. She is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She does have all of her claws and uses a scratching post appropriately.

Penny is the biggest sweetheart. Once she knows who her people are, she rubs on your legs asking for pets and attention. She loves to sit next to you to be pet and follows her foster mom around the room. She does not mind being picked up and carried.

Penny enjoys playing with springs, crinkle balls, and wand toys. She is not overly needy in her playtime, but if you pull out the wand toy, she is ready to play!

Penny eats both wet and dry food. She will need someone committed to feeding her both. She has wonderful litterbox habits. She does well with nail clipping and brushing. She will need to be brushed about 2X per week, so she does not mat. She did come into care with some matting, but sat absolutely wonderfully for a belly shave from her foster mom.

Penny came in with her littermate Emmy and would LOVE to go home with her as Emmy gives her the confidence to warm up to others and looks to her for guidance. Although this is not a requirement, preference will be given to those wanting the pair. Additionally, Penny WILL need to go to a home with another young cat or kitten to play with if she does not go home with her sister. She has done fine with dogs given a slow introduction, but she would not do well with a dog looking for a playmate and would need the dog to mostly ignore her. Penny would do fine with respectful children.
