ONYX is a darling BLACK DOMESTIC SHORTHAIR. She is around 3 years old, spayed and has her claws.

This happy little girl was adopted from SPCR as a kitten but had to come back when her person could no longer care for her.

Onyx is a REALLY NICE CAT, who is active, smart, friendly, outgoing and loves attention. She gets a long very well with other cats and is just plain easy to love!

Unfortunately for her, black cats in shelters and rescues are the last to be adopted and in the middle of the summer busy season their chances drop even further. People just tend to gravitate more towards light colored cats and completely skip over wonderful companions like this cutie.

The best home for Onyx would be one looking for a nice friendly girl who really needs a permanent home where this will never happen to her again. She is very healthy, uses her litterbox 100 percent and will make someone very happy!
