Mya

Mya is a 7.5 lb., 2-year-old, spayed Lynx Point Siamese with all of her claws. She has very soft fur, pretty tabby strips and beautiful blue eyes. She has been fully vetted and is ready to go to her forever home.

Mya was returned to SPRC via owner surrender because she did not get along with the resident cats.  Mya is a shy girl.  She comes off as timid at first, but once you have gained her trust, she is a huge love bug.

Once Mya is comfortable with you, she loves neck scritches and back scratches.  She will curl up on your lap and purr away.  She likes wand toys and soft mouse toys to chase.

Mya should be the only cat.  She isn’t a fan of other cats.  Gentle dogs may work. She has been friendly with the foster home’s, mellow, gentle labrador.  She warms up faster to women.  She is mistrustful of men, but with time (and treats) she would be won over.  She would thrive in a quiet environment.  Older, respectful and patient children could work with her.  Mya would love a home where her people are willing to take the time to gain her trust.  Once she knows you are hers forever, she will follow you around, talk with you and ask for pets.  After a long day, she wants nothing better than to curl up in your lap and purr.
