Misty

MISTY is a sweet 2 year old female SEAL POINT BALINESE MIX who has large light blue eyes. She weighs 8 lbs, has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, FIV/FeLV negative, microchipped and has her claws. She is now ready to go to her forever home!

Misty came from a dual cat home where she was very loved, but she did not like being in a home with another kitty. Her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her to SPCR in hopes she would find a home where she could be the queen of her own castle.

Misty has been 100% with her litter box.  She allows her foster mom to trim her nails. She is a tiny kitty with a soft long coat that needs occasional brushing to keep her looking her best. As with many of the siamese/balinese traits, she is a chatter box and loves to chat with anyone  willing to listen.

Misty will start out shy and will hide given the chance. Her new adoptive parents will need to start her off in a closed off room where she can get used to her surroundings. She is shy around new people, but will come out once she is comfortable.  At this time she is not too interested in playing with cat toys, but she sure does love her favorite treat…Churu!

The best home for Misty would be one where there are no other cats.  She has not been around dogs, but a dog that would ignore her should be fine.  Misty has not been around children, but would probably be ok with respectful children.
